Westleigh Scott Wilkinson

Westleigh Scott Wilkinson, born in 1987, Chief Operations Officer of OPEN South Africa’s leading co-work space creator. They specialize in creating shared spaces for collaboration and innovation to take place. Boasting Africa’s top co-work space, Workshop17 as well as OPEN Maboneng in it’s stable of spaces, along with an additional 8 more in the pipeline. Westleigh and his partners strive to create spaces that are friction free and communities that push the boundaries of innovation and collaboration.

Westleigh comes from a family of entrepreneurs and businesses owners, he started his first business at 19 while still studying for his Bcom Marketing and Business Management at the University of Johannesburg. With a passion for sport he launched a youth football program and grew it over 4 years into a fully fledged Amateur Football Club, Fourways Phoenix FC.

In 2012 a chance meeting with Mark Seftel, (now business partners) lead to Westleigh launching SPAZA, a boutique events company in Maboneng, and later in 2013 Mark Seftel & Paul Keursten asked Westleigh to help build OPEN and scale the co-working business in South Africa.
