The Team at the Helm

With the first half of 2019 off to a roaring start, it brought along some shifts in our team.
Sandile Tshabalala and Charl Cockcroft have stepped down from their roles as directors. Both have made a valuable contribution to JTOF during their time with us and are still passionate about the foundation, continuing to offer their support. We thank them for their passionate contribution to JTOF and the impact they have and continue to have on the foundation. Thank you!

A look at our current board:
Chairman: Ryan Dittmann
Director: Westleigh Wilkinson
Director and Mentor: Nicole Barbeau
Finance and Admin: Lynette Wilkinson
Alumni and Board: Pitsi
Alumni and Board: Corine
Fundraising: Haafiza van der Ross

We are thrilled to welcome Pitsi Tsebe and Corine Malahlela  on to the board. Both are in their final years of study and are finally where they have wanted to be for years – In the engine room of JTOF! They have wanted to give back and contribute in time and expertise since having matriculated. Pitsi and Cornie have been involved in the mentorship program, but it has been a dream of the board to have our alumni sitting alongside us, becoming leaders and guiding the foundation, completing the circle in their journey with JTOF.
It is a realization of one of our visions and we thank everyone that continues to support us.

Walking the Talk

On the 28th July we took part in 702’s Walk The Talk.
The atmosphere for the day was one of enthusiasm and passion for our youth and country, resulting in a great day for our scholars, family and friends.
The 15km walk was followed by a well deserved lunch and planning for the next one!

These activities have been the best and most enjoyable way for the foundation and scholars to connect, creating value and building relationships.
In September, we are looking forward to visiting Bounce and Hint Hunt JHB with the scholars.
